is this a protein bar or a candy bar? this thing taste awesome. it actually does taste just like a milky way bar, this bar rocks! it is also moist so i don't have to chase it down with a gallon of water. designer has taken taste to the next level. this bar is godly and i'm not worthy!!!

ingredient list shows its made with trans fat (hydroginated oils) so that should put it at the bottom

I was expecting another protein bar that claims to taste great and then turns out to be sawdust covered with chocolate. This bar delivers on flavor. It tastes like a dense Milky Way after you add chocolate flavoring to the nouget. Not too chewey and it isn't huge in size. The sucralose after taste is a little strong but most low sugar foods have some downside in that category.

These are the best protein bars I have ever tasted! No grit, no after-taste, no reflux, no bitterness. They are wonderful. However, I find that they tend to get sticky very easily, so I keep mine in the refridgerator. They are great cold!

Of all the protein bars I've tasted, this is NOT one I would confuse with a candy bar. The chocolate coating was "soft" and messy on my hands. The texture was tolerable. Flavorwise, it was at best quite bland; it had a peculiar aftertaste. I guess "stale" is the word I'd use to describe it. Also, it didn't "feel" as substantial as other bars, nor did it seem to "stick with me" as other bars do. I don't usually go for the bars with sugar (this bar has 6 grams) but because it's fairly low, I thought I'd give it a try to get away from the sugar alcohols for awhile. I highly doubt that I would buy it again, but it might do in a pinch.
