I'm truly impressed with this protein. I've been an Optimum Nutrician 100% Whey user for years, but recently tried this brand due to the price and am pleasantly surprised. I had tried it once about 2 yrs. ago and thought it was okay, but Optimum mixed easier and the price was about the same, so I stuck with Optimum. This time it appears they've tweeked the formula because it seems to mix about the same plus I picked it up really cheap here (just over $20 for 5.5 w/ship). I love the banana cream & cookies N cream. With these flavor additions I think Iron Tek has earned my biz.

The taste is quite good and the texture is smooth. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't mix well. I have resorted to using a blender in order to keep from having lumps. It also becomes very frothy and takes awhile to settle. It does stay mixed afterwards though as I make enough to take with me to work for five days. Doubt I purchase this brand again as the blender is too inconvenient for me.

This product is horrible. I bought it thinking that I was getting a good deal, and I did. But this protein powder does not mix. It will not mix with a spoon, barely mixes with a shaker cup, and even has trouble mixing in a blender. The very fine consistency of the powder makes it clump like powdered sugar, and this is the powdered sugar from hell. It is near impossible to funnel the powder into any bottle with a small head. As an athlete who has used many different brands of whey protein supplements I would highly reccomend to spend the few extra dollars on Optimum Nutrition's or EAS's protein supplements, you will be saving yourself the frustration of a non-mixing protein powder.
The powder tastes fine. I bought bannana cream and chocolate flavors, taste is okay, but honestly who drinks this stuff for the joy of it? Mixing this stuff is a huge hassel, stay away!

I tried this protein because it was inexpensive 20 bucks for 5.5 lbs I bought chocolate the taste is horrible the powder doesn't mix well I don't think I'll be buying this again wish I bought a smaller package.

I had to post my comment due ridiculous comments posted here. I have bought around 20 buckets in the last year from this site with EAS and Opt. Nut. This Iron-Tek is the bomb. I have noticed a difference in consistency with in the Choc and banana vs. straw. and vanilla. The first two are more powder-like. However, they all mix well but of course not with a spoon! Must use a shaker-cup or blender.

I tried this protein and I think it is a lot better than nitro-tech and the price of this is a steal, I am going to stick with protein due to the fact that the price is great and I like the way it tastes.

All flavors taste great. I prefer Cookies & cream with my Cereal and oat meal. The powder mix easy with milk or water. I love the price too!

Real good stuff. I have been a faithful ON whey user previously. This whey tastes just as good if not better and the price can't be beat. I have the banana cream and the cookies and cream flavor. Both delicious. I like to mix either flavor with my pre-bedtime cottage cheese. tastes like ice cream.
