I've been using this stuff for at least 10 years -- every single morning it's my breakfast, and sometimes lunch or dinner too. I thought I'd throw up if I had to drink vanilla-chocolate-strawberry one more time. The tropical variety is now the only one I buy -- it's not awful. The nutritional value is very good, I'm healthy and strong after all these years, and besides a bunch of supplements, vitamins and antioxidants, I eat microwave meals and sandwiches. I've tried it all, and I've ended up sticking with this stuff. Like I said, it does the job and it isn't awful.

I have been a long time fan of EAS products, and like many other people, i really loved the taste of the strawberry myoplex...And all of a sudden, EAS decides to change there formula???? I mean it worked great, tasted great, and everyone bought it because it was great!!!! The new formula really sucks, it does not taste nearly as good as the one old one...I am so disappointed with EAS, they lost one of their many long-time supporters, and I am sure there is more to follow....

Before they reformulated, the shakes were healthy and dang tasty.
After EAS reformulated them, the shakes are still healthy but now taste chaukly. The old formula was 5 stars.
The new formula is 3 stars as all it has going for it is nutrition (which is still excellent).

I've been using this product for 3 years now because of the
taste. The strawberry is actually good, not just tolerable. However, EAS appears to have recently changed the formula, coinciding with a change in packaging. It no longer dissolves as well and has a cake mix smell/taste to it, very similar to the other MRPs I tried years ago before I
found Myoplex. Hopefully, EAS will hear us and reverse the change, otherwise they've lost at least one dedicated customer.

I read a review that said myoplex was bad tasting and that ultramet(anthor MRP)was just as good and better tasting. I ordered both and they were right. Ultramet delivers the same nutrients and taste much, much, much better! I give Ultramet 5 stars.

I have tried almost all of the meal replacements that are out there, and this stuff is by far the best when considering cost, taste, and performance. It is what I compare everything else to. It has great taste, and texture. It is a real performer - and that is what matters to me. I have at least one a day, sometimes two. It supplies everything I need in an easy to prepare form. Plus it is in single serving packages - so no scooping and measuring.

By far the best tasting meal replacement shake I have found. I am building muscle but more into weight loss and this helps. I put 8 oz milk/ 8 oz water into a blender, add the MyoPlex, 3 spoonfuls of Vanilla low fat yogurt and two cups of ice. Blend it well and it is a rich, creamy shake that holds me over until lunch. Also good for between meals when you have huge hunger pains. Found it after Men's Health ranked it as the best tasting MRE.

I have only used Chocolate Original Myoplex and its good for me. Was skeptical when they changed the formula but it turned out ok. Quick notes on preperations, pour 2 cups skim milk in blender leave in freezer for an hour then add myoplex and blend away. The colder the better. Just like a milkshake from a fast food restaurant but its actually good for you.

After reading a few reviews the light came on. I've been using this product for years. Whether it's original or deluxe. I thought it was me, but the Stawberry is pretty yucky. I thought it was me. The vanila and chocolate aren't as bad.

This formula was changed twice in a 6 mo peroid. The new formula tastes terrible (both of them) compared to the original. It used to be thick and creamy and now it's this and tastes very "light" and leaves you feeling like you're not really getting a meal replacement. Not sure why they changed it but they lost me as a customer; I am still tring to find another product to take its place.
