Ex-Powerlifter wary of "supplements"
I'd quit the gym for most of last year due to two jobs and time constraints. I kept starting back and then quitting again, due to the frustration of having to rebuild all that I'd lost (I'd been a powerlifter for 7 years prior, and it sucks to have to put half the plates on that you used to). I started up at the beginning of the year and just kept chipping away at getting it back.
I ordered this stack on a whim from reading comments on it, as I intended to just pick up some protein and MRE shakes to fix my diet. I started the 'cycle' on Tuesday, and Friday night while at a party I had not one, but two seperate incidents when girls approached me and were like "wow, do you work out?" and "wow, you're all puffy!", rubbing on my chest and arms and so forth.
I haven't had that sort of treatment in more than a year, and honestly I've missed it. Two weeks prior I was still making good, steady (but slow) gains. For whatever reason, this stuff blows you up well enough that people notice, and keeps that pump around the clock.
The first time I used the NO-Xplode, I had a bit of a rush remeniscent of the old CEA stacks (caffiene/ephedra/aspirin), but I haven't felt it since. I'm not sure if it was a psychosomatic effect or if I'm screwing up the mix by making it the night before(?). Regardless of the reason, I have a lot more focus in the gym as I feel I'm getting back up the ramp a lot faster and more effectively.
It should be noted that when the stuff came around, I also changed up my diet to lower carbs and keep the protein high and consistent, and got back on my serious routine at the gym. But you know as well as I do that although the diet and routine are the keys to growth, it doesn't make a change in 3-4 days like this.
I'm already tempted to blow another stack of money on this stuff even though I haven't gone through what I have yet. As an ex-powerlifter, I'm more focused on strength rather than size... but the size doesn't hurt. And the motivation to crank it at the gym is killer.
